Does Rust Zerg Life use cookies?

We do not set cookies of our own. Your light or dark theme choice is kept in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device. Cloudflare may set a security cookie of its own when it checks for bots.

What information does Rust Zerg Life collect about visitors?

There are no accounts and no forms, so we ask visitors for nothing. Our web server keeps ordinary access logs that include your IP address, the pages you open and your browser type, held for a short time. No analytics or advertising trackers run here.

Where does the Rust server data come from?

Server names, player counts, settings, descriptions and images come from the public server list and from direct queries to each server. It all describes servers rather than individual players. Player counts are totals, not lists of who is online.

Server data, not player data

The stats on this site describe Rust servers, not the people on them. Player counts are totals. Names, settings and descriptions come from what each server publishes or returns to a direct query. We do not keep lists of who is playing where.

What our logs hold

There is no account to create and nothing to fill in. Our web server writes standard access logs: IP address, requested page, browser type and time. We keep them briefly, to diagnose faults and to see which pages are being used. Nothing in the logs is matched to a person or sold on.

Cookies

We set none ourselves. If you switch the theme between light and dark, that preference sits in your browser's local storage and stays on your machine. It is not sent to us and not shared.

Cloudflare

Traffic reaches us through Cloudflare, which delivers the site and filters abusive requests. Cloudflare sees visitors' IP addresses and may place its own security cookie when it checks for bots. That cookie is Cloudflare's, governed by Cloudflare's policy, not ours.

Fonts and flags

Fonts load from this site. The force wipe countdown page pulls country flags from jsDelivr, a public code and font host, so that request exposes your IP address and browser details to jsDelivr. No Google service is used here.

Analytics and advertising

No analytics script runs on these pages. No advertising tracker runs either. We do not follow you to other sites, and we hold no data about you to sell or pass on.
