Best Rust servers
Every list we keep is on this page, grouped by who the server suits. Zerg and clan lists first, then the small-group and solo lists, then pace and region. Each group shows how many servers sit in it right now and its three busiest. Open the full list for the map, wipe timer and team limit on every entry.

Start with your group size, because that decides most of the rest. If you are rolling with a clan or a zerg, you want a server with no team limit or a high one, and the population to feed it: those lists are built exactly for that, and they filter out the solo and duo servers that would have your squad spread across a map that punishes size. If you are a duo or running solo, the small-group lists are honest about it and name the team limit each server enforces, so you are not the one guy in a five-man base.
Then pick a pace and a place. The gather-rate lists only include servers that say the multiplier in their own name, so a 5x list is actually 5x. Region lists matter because a peak evening in one timezone is the middle of the night in another, and the busiest server in the world at 2am is not the busiest where you live. Vanilla and modded are split the same way. The full browser at the live server list lets you combine all of it, and if you want to join straight after an update, the next force wipe countdown tells you when the map resets.
Questions
Q-01How do I find a Rust server for a large clan or zerg?
Go to the clan and zerg lists first: they only include servers with no team limit or a limit high enough to hold a large group. Team limits come from the server's own published settings, not guesswork. Check the population and the wipe timer on each server page before you commit, since a zerg-friendly server can still be quiet outside its peak.
Q-02What does a team limit actually mean on a Rust server?
A team limit is the maximum number of players the server lets you group with under one team tag. Servers with a limit will not let you add more teammates, and most punish stacking. The lists state the limit each server publishes, so a trio list means trios and nothing larger.
Q-03How many Rust servers does Rust Zerg Life track?
We track every public Rust server we can reach on Steam's server list, refreshed every five minutes. Each list shows its current count, so you can see how many servers match a rule before you open it. Private and passworded servers are not included.
Q-04Do solo and duo servers appear on this page?
Yes. They get their own lists with the same live data and the same plain labels. If a server is a poor fit for a large group, we say so, and if it suits solo or duo play, it is listed as exactly that.
