Rust servers with the tutorial on
These servers run Facepunch's new-player tutorial and are tagged for it, or carry 'tutorial' in the name. You learn gathering, crafting, building and cooking on a private island, then join the main map. If you are scouting a server for a big group, the tutorial matters less than the team limit. Sort the table for that before you move your squad in.

Some of these are large official servers, so the population numbers look high and the queues do too. Others are quiet practice grounds. The tutorial itself is solo and adds nothing after the first hour. For a clan, what matters is the Group column: default Rust caps a team at 8, and several servers here run solo, duo or trio, which will not fit a zerg. Check the Next wipe column as well. A server wiping in a few hours is not worth moving a full group onto today. Anyone learning the basics should read the same rows the same way.
Questions
Q-01What does the tutorial tag mean on a Rust server?
It means Facepunch's new-player tutorial is switched on. You start on a private island and work through gathering, crafting, building and cooking before you join the main map. The server's rates, team limit and wipe schedule are unchanged by it.
Q-02Are tutorial servers any good for a clan?
Only if the rest of the settings suit you. The tutorial is a solo island and is over within the first hour, after which you are on the normal map with everyone else. Check the Group column first: a team limit under your clan size rules the server out. Population and wipe timing matter far more to a group.
Q-03Do tutorial servers wipe like other servers?
Yes. They follow their own wipe schedule, usually monthly, with some on weekly or biweekly cycles. A map wipe resets the terrain and bases; blueprints reset only if the server chooses. Each server page shows the upcoming wipe estimate.
Q-04Can a group play together after the tutorial?
Yes, once you finish the island you join the main map and can team up normally. Watch the team limit, because Rust's default caps a team at 8 and several servers here set lower. If you need no cap at all, filter for it before you commit.
Use the table filters above to cut this list down. Search matches server names and addresses, so a word such as 'EU' or 'solo' narrows it quickly. For anything broader, the full live server list carries region, group limit and rate filters. Wipe timing is the other thing to settle before your group joins: servers wiping today is the short version, and the wipe schedule covers the rest. If you are picking for new players rather than a clan, beginner-friendly servers is the closer match. If the squad just wants a populated map with no team cap, the overall rankings and vanilla servers are the better start.
