Official Rust servers for clans

Most leave the team size at Rust's default of eight, which is what a clan of that size or smaller can use. A minority set the limit to three or four, and that is worth checking if you run a large group. The Group column shows any limit below eight, and a blank cell usually means default.

The Official tab is where most players look first, and regulars know the wipe times, so everyone arrives at once. The largest servers still queue on wipe day even with hundreds of slots. Connect as soon as the server restarts, or pick a server with a different wipe day and a shorter queue.

Facepunch's force wipe takes every map on the first Thursday of the month at 19:00 UK time. Beyond that, each official server keeps its own schedule, and most wipe on the same weekday every week or two, usually Thursday, Monday or Friday. The Next wipe column follows what each server has actually been doing rather than what it has published.

It is more predictable. Official population tends to hold through the wipe and the wipe rhythm is regular, which suits a group that wants a full month. Community servers vary much more, from near-vanilla networks to heavily modded ones, so read the settings before moving a clan across.
