Trio Rust servers

A trio Rust server is one where the owner has set the maximum team size to three players. You cannot form a group larger than three, which removes zergs and keeps fights to a few players. The limit is the server's own setting, not a Facepunch rule, and it applies to everyone on that server.

No. A clan with more than three players cannot play together on a trio server, because the team limit blocks a fourth member. You can split into separate trios, but you cannot share a base or fight as one group. If your clan has four or more, you need a server with a higher limit or no limit at all.

It depends on the server. Facepunch's force wipe resets the map on the first Thursday of every month at 19:00 UK time, but blueprint wipes are each server's choice. Check a server's page for its wipe history and settings before you commit to a long wipe. Some trio servers wipe blueprints weekly, others keep them for a month.

Start with the table above. Sort by players to see where the population is right now, then check the next wipe column so you do not join an hour before a reset. The group limit column should read trio. Use the search box to narrow by name or address, and the full server list for region and schedule filters. If you have more than three players, this page is not for you; look for servers with a higher limit.
